At the end of 2019 we went to South East Queensland to check out the Now Buildings sheds at Tinamba Turf.
We met up with Steve Struss, Director of Tinamba Turf and he showed us around, giving us a look (and feel!) of some of the beautiful turf varieties they grow at Tinamba.

Tinamba Turf is at its peak in the early morning, with vehicles coming and going, forklifts picking up and loading turf and harvesters cutting more turf in the distance. We stood to the side of the Open Bay Shed as we chatted about Steve’s sheds, what it’s like to be one of the leading turf providers in the country and how word of mouth really is the best source of marketing for a business.

Steve has been a Now Buildings customer since 2016, when he purchased his Triple Mammoth Shed for Tinamba Turf. Standing at a whopping 55m x 20m x 5m, this shed has become an integral part of the Tinamba property, providing shelter for most of the machinery, vehicles and equipment used on a daily basis. Since purchasing the Triple Mammoth, Steve has added a lean-to and built additional sheds to provide shelter for machinery on some of his other properties.

Steve mentioned that he was initially impressed with the flexibility of Now Buildings during the purchasing process. His shed needs changed a few times during the planning process and he was happy that Trevor was always able to accommodate these changes without issue. It was this flexibility and easy attitude that made Steve confident in choosing Now Buildings as the shed provider for Tinamba Turf.
