We are very proud to use only Australian made products and materials in our sheds. Part of our commitment to being Australian owned and operated means not only buying Australian made, but manufacturing in Australia as well. That’s why we exclusively use BlueScope Steel manufactured by BlueScope Lysaght.

What we know today as BlueScope Lysaght was first established back in 1857, when a man by the name of John Lysaght began exporting corrugated iron sheeting to Australia. Since then, Lysaght’s steel sheeting has been used to build anything and everything, from classic shearing sheds to modern homes. Lysaght have become an integral part of the Australian landscape, with that classic corrugated iron sheeting now a true Aussie icon. Our steel components are made by BlueScope Steel and then manufactured, rolled and packed at one of over 26 BlueScope Lysaght depots nationwide.

Our manufacturing process has been designed so that the production of steel for any particular shed always takes place at the depot closest to the shed site. This way we can support local and regional economies by investing back into the regions where our sheds are built. 

We recently visited one of our local BlueScope Lysaght depots as they rolled and packed the steel for one of our customers.
