Now Buildings has been one of Australia’s leading wholesale shed suppliers since it’s establishment in 2008. Now 12 years on and thousands of sheds later, we’re proud of the improvements and updates we’ve made to our service and products. With 2020 marking our 12th birthday, we thought it was fitting to enter the new decade with an updated and improved logo and brand identity to match.
While our previous logo and brand design reflected the business the Walker family began back in 2008, we thought that since we are continually improving on our products and services that it was time to upgrade our brand to reflect the business we are today. We are proud to supply high quality, Australian made, farm and industrial sheds to thousands of customers all over Australia, we wanted our logo and brand identity to reflect this.
One of the most important aspects of re-branding was that we remain identifiable to our customers who have supported us since day one. Our re-brand had to convey the growth we’ve experienced while showing that we are still the same company at heart. To do this, we chose to incorporate elements of our first logo into our re-brand to improve on the old logo, rather than change it completely. Some of the unique features of our previous logo were our shed icon and our signature orange colouring. So, instead of changing these elements, we improved on them in the same way we have improved our service and products over the years.
Our new logo references our previous logo by incorporating an updated version of our shed icon. As you can see in the image below, the ‘N’ has been used to represent a shed roof as well as an arrow that points upwards. Not only does this symbolise the erection of our sheds, but also our ever growing company, always striving to improve and provide the best service and products we possibly can for our customers.
We’ve also referenced our previous logo and brand identity by maintaining our signature orange, white and grey colour palette. Our font is clear, strong and precise, reflecting our business and the strong sheds that we provide.
